The Priyadarshan-directed movie, is a psycho thriller and is based on the subject which has never been taken up by any director on the screen, Akshay Kumar says. "I mean when we switch on any channel of TV we get to listen lots of stories related to ghosts, witches and supernautral powers. We have grown up listening such stories. My film is an attempt to spread an awareness that there is no existence of ghosts and what most of us believe is our superstition. The film is being released on October 12, he says. "It is not a comedy as some people are guessing it to be after watching the promos on television channels," he says. "The film is actually a tug of war between the superstition and science and an attempt to educate people about superstition," he says. "Log babon ke pass jaatey haien, jisko problem hai usko peeta jaata hai (people visit quacks and the one who is suffering is beaten). I think in an educated society such things needs to be stopped," Akshay Kumar says. The film was extensively shot in Rajasthan especially in Jaipur. Rajasthan's picturesque locales have always appealed filmmakers and in our story we need backdrop of Rajasthan.
