Tabu likely for Oscar nomination

MP: Bollywood's talented actress Tabu's name is doing the rounds among Oscar nominations under the best female actress category. The actress is being projected for her brilliant performance in Mira Nair's film, The Namesake. Though there are speculations, the crew of the film is said to be actively campaigning the film for the Oscar race. The US based Indian filmmaker, Mira herself is expecting to get an Oscar nomination for the best director category. The film is based upon the novel The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri and was critically acclaimed in various film festivals. Labels: Tabu
