The fate of the epic film Jodha Akbar seems to be distressing with many of the states in the country  banning the screening of the film.

 

The mega budget epic had a decent opening with a gross Rs.385 million worldwide in the opening weekend, but the collections seems to have dropped significantly over the following weekends.

 

The film had a complete washout in Rajastan  with protestors going against the screening of the film. Protests followed in Uttar Pradesh, Maharastra and most recently Madhya Pradesh banning the screening of the film.
