Don Muthuswamy is the story of a don who wants to become a good man. Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty dons the title role of Don Muthuswami in the film.

He promises his father Muthu that he would turn to a good person and his journey forward makes the rest of the film. Others in the cast are Hrishita Bhatt, Rohit Roy, Mohit Raina, debutant Anusmriti, Vishal Kotian and Shakti Kapoor.

Shakti Samanta produces the film. Ashim Samanta is the director. Anu Malik scores the music. The film is said to be comic caper.The shooting of the film is over.
