The 'Screen Legends' song compilation series begins with Dev Anand
Shemaroo Entertainment starts a new premium song compilation series called 'Screen Legends' with Dev Anand. Both the VCD and DVD formats of this title are specially created to celebrate Dev Anand's 84th birthday. This title has a 6 VCD pack and 2 DVD volumes with 2 Discs each.
The VCD pack aptly titled Dev Anand – Forever Young, features songs from the entire gamut of Dev's movies – from the black and white era to colour – right from 'Nau Do Gyarah' and 'Teen Devian' to 'Guide' and 'Des Pardes' among others.
The DVD volume 1 consisting of 50 Dev solos, is called Dev Anand - 'The Evergreen Legend of Indian Cinema'; volume 2 consists of 50 passionate duets called Dev Anand - 'The Eternal Romantic Star'. Surely a treat watching the legend, romancing beauties of the silver screen, right from Madhubala, Nutan and Waheeda to Hema Malini, Zeenat and Tina.
Certainly a very invigorating, youthful and melodious experience watching the musical journey of the Evergreen Legend!
