Billu Barber will see Shahrukh Khan for the first time in a supporting role.
The film, which is a remake of the hugely successful Malayalam film Kadha Parayumbol, is about two friends, one of whom is a barber and the other a super star in the film industry with a message about friendship. The star cast boast two incredible Khans come together on screen, King Khan and the indelible Irfan Khan along with the gorgeous Lara Dutta. Toe-tapping and delightful music is being orchestrated by Pritam to lyrics penned by the much-admired veteran wordsmith Gulzar. And not to be missed will be item numbers by the hot and sizzling Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and the beautiful and sensational Deepika Padukone.

Priyadarshan's Shahrukh Khan film Billo Barber will have Lara Dutt playing the female lead in the film. Tabu was earlier considered for the role. However she had opted out which paved way to Lara.

The film produced from SRK's home production is the Hindi remake of the popular Malayalam hit, Katha Parayumbol.

Sharukh plays a pivotal role in the film. Others in the cast are Irrfan Khan, Om Puri, Rajpal Yadav etc.
