Superstar, the latest Hindi film on screens is the story of an aspiring actor who wants to make it big. Film is directed by Rohit Jugraj. The film has Kunal Khemu playing the lead as the superstar. Kunal plays double role in the film who plays different personalities with different economic status. He struggles and dreams of becoming a superstar one day. But circumstances take a turn on when his look alike make it first on screens. Tulip Joshi plays female lead. Though the story is simple, the script seems to be weak. Music by Shamir Tandon has nothing much refreshing to offer.Except for Kunal's performance there is nothing to be highlighted about the film.

Shreyas Talpade carries the film elegantly who plays a petty thief who runs away to Bangkok after cheating a local don. Female lead Lena Christensen does justice to her role. Naseeruddin Shah in guest appearance does a good job. The film is projected as a comedy.
