New Delhi, Dec 14 (ANI): Vice President, Mohammad Hamid Ansari, released a book titled "Jhansi Mein Kranti (1857-86)" authored by Vir Singh Parmar at a function here today.

Speaking on the occasion, Ansari said: "We all should impart the learning of the freedom movement to the next generation, and this change should continue.

Complementing the author, he said, "Parmar deserves appreciation from all for imparting his valuable knowledge regarding the freedom movement, especially of "Jhansi Kranti".

The Vice President further said that the people should not forget how freedom was achieved.

A number of dignitaries were present on the occasion.

The function was organised by Shashwat Shiksha Shodh Sansthan, Raksa, Jhansi. (ANI)
