India on Wednesday beat New Zealand by 3 wickets in a rain-affected semi-final to book a berth in the finals of the Under-19 World Cup cricket held in Kuala Lumpur.
New Zealand who batted first scored 205 in 50 overs.
However rain interrupted India's innings. After rains, the target was revised and India needed 191 to win from 43 overs. But the Indians lost immediately four wickets while scoring 33 runs.
With Shreevats Goswami's half century 51 and captain Kohli's 43 helped India score 191 for seven in 47.1 overs.
Kohli was adjudged the Man of the Match for his all-round performance who even took two wickets.
