The cold wave which has hit Rajastan still continues with many of its northern and eastern parts shivering under the cold weather.
The temperature has touched a minimum of zero degree celsius at the favourite tourist hill destination of Mount Abu.
Churu recorded the coldest in the plains with a minimum of 1.2 degree Celsius. Temperatures of other places: Pilani -1.7, Dabok 2.2, Bikaner 3.6, Sriganganagar 4.2, Jaisalmer 4.6, Jaipur 5.6, Barmer 6.1, Ajmer 6.2, and Jodhpur-6.4.
The extreme cold weather is also causing great damage to the crops in Ganganagar.
The Mety dept says that the cold conditions may continue for next 24 hours with possiblity of ground frost during the morning hours
