Kidney racket doc under CBI custody

Alleged mastermind behind the international kidney racket, Dr Amit has been taken into CBI custody.

 

A Delhi court had remanded the Indian doctor to CBI custody till February 22.

Amidst tight security the doctor was taken for preliminary questioning soon after he was deported from Nepal and brought to India.

 

He was booked by the CBI under various sections of Indian Penal Code and may face upto 10 years jail punishment if convicted on charges of illegal organ tranplant.
