Claiming a 7 wicket victory over Sri Lanka on Tuesday's ODI in Hobart, India has secured its place in the finals against Australia in the Tri series.
Batting second, India reached the target of 180 in 32.2 overs.
Earlier the Indian bowlers dismissed the Srilankan team for 179. Youngsters Ishant Sharma claimed 4 wickets for 41 while Praveen Kumar took 4-31.
The Indians chased the target with the loss of 3 wickets. Tendulkar scored 63, Yuvraj 35 while Gautam Gambir remained not out with 63 runs. The first of the best three finals will be played on March 2nd at Sydney.
