Gold sales up with Diwali

Its the best festive time for jwellery shops with the country celebrating the festival of lights, Diwali. And with the recent dip in gold prices, no wonder the sales of the gold have gone up ahead of the most celebrated festive season.

Though gold buying was hit over the last weeks, the demand for gold has gone up again with the auspicious day of Pushya nakshtra which comes ahead of Diwali.

Also with the economic slow down and weaker stock markets, people are going for alternate investments like gold.
