Moon mission by Oct end

India's ambitious moon mission programme, Chandrayaan-I is scheduled to take off by the end of October.

 

The spacecraft for the unmanned lunar mission by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has been moved to Sriharikota as a part of preparations for the launch.

 

The spacecraft which will be launched by a modified version of the PSLV has underwent the necessary environmental tests. The mission by the ISRO is aimed on conducting scientific explorations in the moon.
