N deal gets Senate nod

The Indo-US nuclear deal is finally through with the majority of US Senate voting in favor of the Bill on Thursday. This means that India can have access to US civil nuclear fuel and technology.

 

 The landmark deal was approved by the US Senate with 86 voting in favor of the Bill while 13 voted against it.

 

The final approval will now be made by the US President and thereafter the representatives of the two countries will sign the deal.
