Audi R8 reaches India

German automaker Audi has launched its luxurious sports car Audi R8 in the Indian markets. This stylishly designed new model race car is priced at Rs 1.17 crore(ex-showroom Delhi)  exclusive of taxes.

This mid engine super sports car Audi R8  with a day to day drivability, can attain a top speed of 301 km/hr in 4.6 seconds.

The company reports that it has already received 15 orders for its new model R8  for this year and hopes to deliver 20 such cars in 2009.
