Responding to the Center government's call for reduced prices on the wake of economic slow down, the housing sector is expected to slash prices for over the coming days.
The National Real Estate Development Council(NAREDCO) has asked its members cmprising of developers to cut down prices to its customers.
A discount of 1-5% for exisiting projects and about 5% to 10% for new projects and 10–15% cut is projected for affordable housing. Major developers in real estate industry like DLF Group, Unitech etc are said to have favoured the move.
