Inflation drops to 8.98pc

Much to the governmnets relief, the country's inflation has come down to a single digit for the first time in the last 21 weeks.
The decline in the fuel prices and manufactured goods along with some commodities has attributed to the drop in inflation rate, says analysts. The levels which were as high as 12.91 pc in August this year has comedown significantly in the current week with the global prices of commodities slowing down. --MP
