Perfect farewell for Ganguly

It was a sweet win and a perfect farewell for former captain Sourav Ganguly as his end of his career came with a winning note.

India beat Australia for an impressive 172 runs in the final Test on Monday played at Nagpur to regain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy with a series win of 2-0. Ganguly also captained the Indian team for a while in the match as Dhoni handed over the captaincy for few hours late in the Australian innings.

"I have had my time and I am happy with the way things have gone."said Ganguly. "This match was one of the best finishes I've seen in terms of a team performance," he observed.
