Agatha Sangma is the youngest minister

The second phase of 59 new ministers including 14 cabinet ministers, 7 ministers with independent charges and 38 Ministers of State had been inducted to the Manmohan Singh governmnet on Thursday. 

The swearing in ceremony took place at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in the morning with President administering the oath to office.

The youngest minister in the new council of ministers is 28 year old Agatha Sangma, daughter of former LS speaker PA Sangma. Agatha by profession is a lawyer.

The cabinet ministers newly inducted include Vilasrao Dehmukh, Farooq Abdullah, Virbhadra Singh, Kumari Selja, Subodh K Sahay, Pawan K Bansal, M S Gill, Mukul Wasnik, Kantilal Bhuria, G K Vasan etc.
