BSP, SP, JD(s) fall for UPA

In a day's political development, the Congress led UPA government now enjoys the support of as many as 315 MPs.
UPA, the Cong combined with allies has 261 seats on its own, has recieved calls from a series of parties promising their unconditional support to the government on Tuesday. This includes, Mulayam's Samajwadi Party with 23 MPs, Gowda's JD(s) with 3 MPs, Lalu Prasad Yadav's RJD with 4 MPs, Mayawati's BSP with 21 MPs which takes the tally to 312. --MP
