DMK prepares to join govt

The Congress-DMK deadlock over the decision to join the government has finally come to an end with a consensus finally reached on the DMK's share of ministerial berths.  

According to sources, DMK has shortlisted Karunanidhi's son M K Azhagiri, his grandnephew Dayananidhi Maran and A Raja for the post as Cabinet Ministers while his daughter Kanimozhi is likely to get MoS.

This will mean Union Shipping Minister T R Baalu will miss a ministerial berth this time.
