Punjab on alert

Violence has erupted in many parts of Punjab aand Haryana following the killing of a Sikh leader in Vienna. Protestors turned violent which forced police to open fire at them which led to the killing of atleast 2 people and many others injured in areas near Jalandhar.

Angry protestors attacked trains and other vehicles triggering more panic in the region including the death of another person on Monday. Though the situation is much under control curfew is still imposed in major cities Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Phagwara and Hoshiarpur.
