7 year jail term for Telgi

Abdul Karim Telgi, the key accused in the fake stamp papers scam has been awarded seven yar's rigorous imprisonment by a Delhi Court on Thursday. HeĀ is also imposed a fine of Rs 1.3 crore as in three seperate cases. He has been involved with several fake stamp paper cases in Delhi and was convicted in Karnataka and Maharastra. Telgi had pleaded guilty in the previous hearings earlier this year.
Telgi's associate Deepak Kudale was also sentenced with a similar jail term of 7 years. --MP
