Govt to revive recession hit sectors

The President in her first addrres to the 16th Lok Sabha has said that the new UPA government would focus on reviving the economy by working on those sectors which are worst hit by the global economic crisis.
This includes sectors like infrastructure, exports, small and medium enterprises, textiles, housing etc. Presenting the new government's mission before the Parliament Patil also maintained the significance of inclusive growth and equitable development. The other key priorities highlighted by the government include infrastructure development, financial reforms, welfare of the minorities and weakened sections, promoting communal harmony, internal security etc. --MP
