A recent survey conducted on Indians has shown that heart related problems are no more limited to the senior group of citizens. Cardio diseases areĀ increasingly being diagnosed among the young and middle aged, thanks to the changing life style and food habits. Around 40percent of Indians are at risk of heart diseases and amongĀ them, the more vulnerable were the the 30-39 age roup, indicates the study which was reviewed coinciding with the World Heart day. Added to the stress filled careers, and sedentary life styles, smoking, other illnesses like diabetes, cholestrol and hypertension all contributed to the alarming rise in the heart diseases.
