After failing short of a majority in Haryana, the Congress party is all set to stake claim to form the next government in the State with the support of independents. As many as 7 independents have assured their support to the Congress, and the Congress leadership has called on Governor Jagannath Pahadia and had handed over the letter of support from its MLAs. Though the name of the chiefministerial candidate will be decided by the Party Chief Sonia Gandhi, it is uncertain whetherat Hooda will be given a chance again.
